So you might be wondering, why do we have a plaster on our club crest?
Here at Black Lion, we believe it is important to show our support of UNICEF and Crowdfunder's VaccinAid campaign to ensure everyone in the world gets access to life-saving COVID-19 vaccines.
We encourage you to show your support by either donating to VaccinAid, creating a fundraiser or changing your social media profile image to show your support.
Today marks the start of World Immunisation Week, which aims to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease. Immunisation saves millions of lives every year and is widely recognized as one of the world's most successful health interventions.
To allow us all to return to a more 'normal' life, UNICEF and Crowdfunder are asking for our support to help those across the world to get access to the vaccines to make us all safer. Many of us will now already have had our first vaccination for free, while in other countries the same option is not available.
With the nation, rolling up their sleeves to play their part in the biggest vaccination drive in history, VaccinAid aims to deliver 2 billion vaccines around the world.
We hope you can help, as we'll only be safe when we're all safe.
