New partnership between Universities at Medway and BLSC to launch Team Medway Swimming

Helping students to combine swimming and academic success, BLSC and GK Unions are delighted to launch “Team Medway Swimming”.

If you are considering going to university but are also passionate about progressing in your training, then study at Medway and swim with the Black Lions.

Located in historic Medway, Team Medway Swimming is a new partnership between the respected Universities of Greenwich and Kent and BLSC Performance Swimming Club.

BLSC will lead and deliver the student training programme and can provide the right training environment, coaching and support to train for local or national success. Students will have the opportunity to be coached by BLSCs fantastic team of coaches, who will support them to develop and progress to their full potential, becoming the best swimmers they can be.

Team Medway Swimming offers a seamless pathway for swimmers studying at the Universities and will tailor course provision to offer:

• appropriate performance facilities

• professional coaching

• GK Union subsidised training fees

• assisted travel to training
